Update 6/28/2011

Hello everyone. Today went grrrrrreat. I went to sleep at 11:45 last night and woke up at 5:11 AM refreshed. I didn’t feel one bit tired. I stood awake the whole day. I mostly did studying. I opened up my GED book and said “Now is study time and I’m going to do it. I’m going to stick to my schedule whether I like it or not!” and I sat down and read a lot. I finished reading about world history and found out Julius Ceasar invented the calendar. I memorized 5 ½ pages which is more like 10 ½ front and back of paper notes from my book. For example I put “_____ invented the calendar” and I answered without looking at my book “Julius Caesar”. It was a little rainy today, but no thunder showers like the weather.com page said. However, it was cold enough for some soup. My mom came home and I was all showered. She and me agreed soup sounded good. I’m proud to announce that I ate all my veggies. They tasted like chicken broth so it wasn’t hard to swallow it. I prefer sticking to Spinach of all the darker greens and I’m going to mix it with chicken broth. It kind of gets boring staying home all day while my mom works and my dad does too. My mom gets off at 5:00 and she gets into her PJs right away and watches tv. My dad gets home at 8:50 and has dinner, watches a little tv, showers, and heads for bed. I got a driver’s handbook from the DMV and am practicing it and don’t plan to take my permit test until 2 weeks. It’s more than enough time to let all of it deeply sink into my brain. My mom did most of the cooking and it was delicious! She knows how to make food taste good. That’s something I’m not to good at at all. My routine’s the same everyday: have breakfast, wash my face with cold water, do chores, study, watch tv with my mom, shower, eat dinner, floss, brush teeth, Crest Complete mouthwash, prepare for tomorrow, and polish my nails, and sleep. Anyway, I g2g. It’s nail polish time! It makes me happy to dress up everyday even though I go nowhere. Anyway, take care all. God bless. Lata

p.s, Here is a picture of a poor little bird I seen on the concrete of the nature trail. I got real close to him and he wouldn't budge. poor baby bird.

The next pic is a pic of my chic professional looking nail polish. Guess what? It' not expensive. It was a dollar something and the brand is "Wet 'N' Wild"

Where I Am Right Now and God's Blessings

Hello All! I’m doing great and so is the rest of the fam. I do do chores everyday around the house. So much has changed in a year since we’ve lived here. We’re so neat, and some think of me as obsessively clean because once anything is misplaced, I put it away right away and clean it right away. There’s no clutter at all. Everyone washes their own dishes, When there’s things on the counter around the sinks, I clear it off and clean it off. Everything is where it goes. Mom and I don’t like even a tiny bit of clutter around the house, and it seems like everyone is starting to pick up the pace to that too.My brother’s hamster who we’ve had since last July is named Boo Koo. He’s a Golden White Banded Syrian hamster. He doesn’t bite and loves to be nocturnal in his wheel all day and loves fruit. His favorite fruit is a bit of red apple. He makes his rounds starting at 6:15 pm around the house in his clear ball. He doesn’t care for the HamTrack. Yesterday, I took a ride with mom and dad to WalMart in Roseville next to Sam’s Club. For once in a long time, I decided to go shopping for myself. I bought some Revlon Gold nail polish, Hard Candy’s Brown liquid eyeliner, and Rimmel’s light tone foundation. I’m near a make-up addict but I know how to spend my money. When I go out places I dress my best with lipstick, lipgloss, eye shadow, body glitter, blush, earrings, necklace, and of course a headband. I have two different body glitter sprays that actually smell good, and those are Silver and Bronze. For Blush I use a light pink lipstick and it works just as good as Blush. I have LOTS and LOTS of eye shadow. I have 3 medium sized pallets, some Hard Candy eye shadow, Gold, Turquoise, Green, Brown, Purple, & plus 98 color eyeshadow palette that my brother got me. It took awhile to save up on all of them, but they work! As far as nail polish’s go, some colors eye have are Turquoise, Yellow-Green, Black, Brown, Burgundy, Medium Blue, shimmery Purple, Neon Pink, Silver, and Gold. For headbands, I have lots too. I have a Burgundy and dark Blue ones with bows, a hippi rainbow colored one, a pastel colored one, a Black glittery one, dark Blue, purple, pink, and chokers too. I’m getting started on my earrings collection. I currently have 10 pairs I bought @ WalMart. They have some really good buys @ WalMart, you have to check them out! I bought 4 dress up earrings (like for Christmas parties) @ $3.50 each. There are some of the chicest shades of nail polishes at $1 Tree Store. I bought my L.A. Color’s compact mirror, nail polishes, eye shadow, and lip balm and lip gloss from there. Let me know about your collections. As far as perfumes, I have Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds, and Giorgio Beverly Hills. Giorgio Beverly Hills’s is strong, so I don’t use it that much. I usually where my Prince Matchabelli’s Cotton Candy spray wherever I go. I bought 3 new shirts yesterday that I completely dig. They’re casual, but most of the time, people wear casual. I got a GREEN one, a BRIGHT Orange one, and a Red Mickey Mouse t. I think I look best in the Orange one. I also checked out the variety of lotions they had, and I decided to try a new lotion out: Dial Nutri somethingHowever, a tip, stick with Jergen’s Ultra Healing lotion. When they say it penetrates through 7 layers of skin, it does! Mom and dad bought me a beautiful dress up dress. I now have 3 dresses. I also went body wash shopping and bought: . Dove Shea Butter. Mom gave me a tip and told me to put lotion on my arms to make them soft. I love my new bed! It’s a air mattress! There’s a switch to deflate and inflate. I’ve had it for 2 months now and love it! It’s high off the ground and gives it the laying on a cloud affect. My bed sheets, comforter, and pillow cases are hot pink of course. Actually my fave colors are: is neon Pink, then Hot pink, then bubble gum pink, light pink, and then forest and emerald green, and last, Christmas time red. I’ve just started a routine of walking through a gorgeous nature trail that’s 1 block away from our house. At the side of the trail are birds, flowers, and a babbling brook. It’s good exercise. One thing I discovered I need is a outer life of just my family. I need to socialize with others. 2 days ago I was cleaning my room and discovered a paper with almost all the people I’ve met through my group meetings. One person named Amy, I met at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento. We had a good talk, and exchanged phone numbers and left. I haven’t seen her in 2 years. I was going through personal problems at the time and didn’t call her at all. Even after she left me a voicemail. Anyway, things have been kind of rainy lately. Surprisingly we’ve received quite a bit of rain in June. Mom pointed out my stylish cool tan on my hands. Only my hands though, but with this walk, I’ll probably be completely tanned in no time. Mom’s favorite thing to do (her hobby) is photography. That’s all she does on the nature trail. However, I’ve started my routine that when mom and dad are working, I go alone. As much as I didn’t want to yesterday, I pulled out my GED exercise book. I was fascinated about what I learned about writing a poem, song, or story. The Language Arts sounds FUN!!! But math is my least fave subject. However, when I was in adult school a year ½ ago, I loved doing math. My hobbies are: reading non-fiction books, decorating, surfing online. I’m starting to find new hobbies, and have some more I can’t think of right now. Since mom and I like to decorate, mom created a table centerpiece that has a vase of bright orange sunflowers, yellow Chrysanthemums and another flower piece. Under the flowers she has fruit and fake fruit around it. I don’t see the big deal about photography, but I do about writing poems and stories. Sometimes, I imagine myself singing certain pop songs and I feel how much fun it is. There are certain songs I like, some called “Cherish”, “Lucky Star”, “Vogue” all by Madonna. I don’t like her trashy words, but the beat and other rated G words. My favorite band is Savage Garden. When they sing, I feel like they’re reaching out to me and only me and saying “I believe in you”. I love there song “Crash and Burn” as my fave. 2 months ago, I looked up Backstreet Boys again, and guess what?!?! They’ve teamed up with New Kids On The Block and formed a new band called “NKOTBSB”. I bought their CD yesterday @ WalMart for $12.00. . If you’d like visit www.nkotbsb.com, www.backstreetboys.com, and www.nkotb.com . Some may think I’m rich because I have so many things, but it’s taken me awhile to collect all these things, and I go where the sales, clearance rack, and thrift stores. You have to know when and where to get some REAL wise BUYS! That’s one of my fave stores, Wise Buys”. I also love “WalMart”, $1 Store. I adopted a baby pumpkin plant yesterday and bought him a pot. I like that idea, because no matter how big he gets, I’ll always know where to water him. Anyway, I should stop going on. I realize that some of this letter may seem like bragging, but I’m not at all. I know you have LOTS & LOTS you have and to tell me. I just wrote it so you can see what kind of person I am. My plans for this 4th of July aren’t clear yet. A nice BBQ sounds nice. Maybe hot dogs or cheesburgers. I would love to have fireworks, but I don’t thihk the neighborhood association will allow that. However, I have an excuse to play the movie I used to re-run over and over again “The Patriot” again! Anyway, God bless you all as he’s blessed me. Take care. TTYL

Happy 100th Birthday June Gregg!

Hello All. I hope everyone's as blessed as me and June. June Gregg I read about in the Yahoo news. She's been a member of a bank since 1913! The bank wished her a happy 100th b-day with a cake Thursday.
