Happy Halloween 2011

Hello. My family and I had a wonderful Halloween and I had a fantastic birthday! Today my parents surprised me with a gift. They bought me 3 pairs of Black sweat pants and a warm plush jacket. Fall is definitely here. It’s cold enough for me to turn my portable heater on in my room. Luckily tonight we used the main heater of the house. A few weeks ago my parents and I rode on the Sacramento light rail. We visited Folsom Outlets and a Asian grocery store. It was exciting!! Today my rents and me went to Walmart and I grabbed my latest issue of my all time fave mag “Womans World”. The pics I posted here are pics of Halloween 2011.

I'm PROUD! :-D

Hello. Today was pretty easy for me. Vacuum and dusting. I guess some would say I’m obsessed with Lysol since I like to spray bathroom floors, toilet handle, light switches, bathroom outdoor and indoor door knobs, sinks, shower floor, front door door knobs, remotes, keyboards, mouse, fridge door handles, and counter tops. I would spray all these everyday if it weren’t so expensive. Daily I spray bathroom floor, toilet handle, bathroom light switches, bathroom indoor and outdoor knobs, bathroom sinks, and shower floor. I priced a can of Lysol @ WalMart and they wanted $4 something dollars. That’s too expensive. However, each month I set aside money for things that we need, like Lysol. I spray the counter tops with Lysol and let it set for a min, then wash them with Dawn Antibacterial dish soap and Fabuloso. Fabuloso is grrrreat, but get the purple bottle, it smells sooo good. Thankfully my family likes to keep everything very tidy like me. Everyone washes their own dishes after using them instead of them and me saying “I’ll do it later”. There is no “later”, must be done now!! The counter tops are always clear and the dishes after cleaning them are put in the dish rack to drain on the other sink. I wait for 2hrs and then quickly put them away in their places. I absolutely love our table cloth we bought awhile from WalMart. It’s a summer time looking table cloth with brightly colored pieces of fruit (e. watermelons, lemons, limes…). I bought some pretty summer colored flowers to put as a center piece on our dining room table. They’re bright orange Daisies, another type of bright orange flowers, and bright Yellow Marigolds. They’re fake of course. Then my mom put lots of fruit around it w/ fake grapes, fake lemon, fake lime, fake oranges, fake red apples, and a fake green apple. My mom got some HUGE squashes from a man at work who has a garden and one of them is green and the other, Yellow. They’re also on the table. Our kitchen and dining room has a Chef theme. I bought 6 placemats from the Dollar Tree store (my second fave place to go for good deals after WalMart) of a Chef cooking in a kitchen. I also have a Chef dish cloth that we use only for decoration along with our brightly colored fruit dish towel. Our house is so clean and organized that it looks like a house out of a magazine. The last time I was at the Dollar Tree store, I also bought some limbs. Yes, limbs. Halloween limbs! I got a bloody half of a leg, a bloody hand, and some fingers that look like they we cut off with a knife. I LOVE decorating for Halloween!! I also love to use the fogger. However, my first favorite holiday is definitely Christmas!!! My favorite season is Autumn. I love the colored leaves, pumpkins, and the cool weather. Hopefully my family and I will get some pumpkins out of our pumpkin plant. She has lots of big yellow flowers but so far, no pumpkins.  Even though today is a stay home day for us, I still love to get up in the morning and get dressed up with my headband, earrings, and necklace. Then I wear some make-up too. Today I’m wearing a purple shirt, with purple eyeshadow, dark purple lipstick, purple disco balls necklace, and my earrings that say “Love” on them with my purple head band of course. Even though if people seen my bedroom and everything that’s in it, they’d say “Elysia, you’re rich!”. However, it’s just that I’ve invested very well. I have a collection of 12 + headbands, over 90 shades of eye shadow (Thanks to my brother who got a lot of them), over 6 red lipstick shades, over pink lip stick shades, over 10 pairs of dangly earrings, and more than 6 colored necklaces. My latest necklace looks like real Turqouise and I wear it with my 3 Turquoise shirts. It’s my most expensive necklace. The glittery purple disco balls necklace I’m wearing now only cost 50 cents!! That’s definitely a steal!! Yes, even my bedroom is clean, vacuumed daily. I have a place for my necklaces, earrings, eye shadows, make-up, head bands, and all my clothes I hang in my closet. The only thing that looks out of place right now in my room is a box of holiday deco. I like to make my bed every morning so that the top sheet is folded over so it looks cozy come bed time like it’s saying “hop in!”. I recently bought a tall stand up fan since my bed is very high that I have top put my knee on it and pull myself up. I love it!! I now have my own radio in my bedroom that I got for a good buy through craigslist. The other day at WalMart I seen two movies I love, one “Great Outdoors” and the other I don’t remember. I have over 8 movies on my TV. One of my faves is “Dunston Checks In”. However, I’d rather read. I like the book “You The Smart Patient”. I just barely started reading it yesterday. It’s one of my faves!! The only fiction book I have is one I haven’t read for over a year about angels written by Debbie MacComber. I love to read about Psychology, but I also like physical health care. I like Psychology more. Hopefully I’ll be a psychologist and a psychiatrist some day. However, that won’t block me from reading about the latest health care info. Anyway, it’s good to read about both mental and physical health care. I g2g for now. TTYL. Write to me.

Sincerely,
Elysia

Having FUN in the California SUN!!!

Hello all! This 4th of July was grrrreat! The pic above of me was taken on July 4th, 2011. I’m doing good. My house has to be the cleanest, most organized, and neat house around. My mom and I can’t stand a dirty house. After we eat and drink we immediately clean our dishes, then we dry them and put them in their proper place. The table is always clean and clear. As soon as we open up our front door, we immeditately take off our shoes and put them on the shoe rack right by the door. Everything is in it’s place. That’s the way my mom and I like to keep it. Some people would say we’re Obsessive Compulsive, but I say we’re just decent. My mom and I can’t stand one dirty dish in the sink! Our bedrooms are always clean, organized and neat. I hang my shirts and pants on hangers in my closet. I make my bed every morning and I get everything for the next day prepared at night before I go to bed. I also notice I’m on top of things these days. If I have a doctor appointment, I take all my meds bottles with me and I have a list full of questions. I take vitamin B12, fish oil, and a multi-vitamin. I love taking care of my loved ones too. Yesterday my dad cooked the ribs, my mom made the 4 different salads, macaroni salad one of them and decided to use recipes she got from the Internet of salads. I cleaned most of the house. Laundry is done more than once a day. God has sure blessed me with lots! Anyway, I’m going to read my book “You the Smart Patient” and take notes. Take care. God bless. TTYL!

Sincerely,
Elysia

Update 6/28/2011

Hello everyone. Today went grrrrrreat. I went to sleep at 11:45 last night and woke up at 5:11 AM refreshed. I didn’t feel one bit tired. I stood awake the whole day. I mostly did studying. I opened up my GED book and said “Now is study time and I’m going to do it. I’m going to stick to my schedule whether I like it or not!” and I sat down and read a lot. I finished reading about world history and found out Julius Ceasar invented the calendar. I memorized 5 ½ pages which is more like 10 ½ front and back of paper notes from my book. For example I put “_____ invented the calendar” and I answered without looking at my book “Julius Caesar”. It was a little rainy today, but no thunder showers like the weather.com page said. However, it was cold enough for some soup. My mom came home and I was all showered. She and me agreed soup sounded good. I’m proud to announce that I ate all my veggies. They tasted like chicken broth so it wasn’t hard to swallow it. I prefer sticking to Spinach of all the darker greens and I’m going to mix it with chicken broth. It kind of gets boring staying home all day while my mom works and my dad does too. My mom gets off at 5:00 and she gets into her PJs right away and watches tv. My dad gets home at 8:50 and has dinner, watches a little tv, showers, and heads for bed. I got a driver’s handbook from the DMV and am practicing it and don’t plan to take my permit test until 2 weeks. It’s more than enough time to let all of it deeply sink into my brain. My mom did most of the cooking and it was delicious! She knows how to make food taste good. That’s something I’m not to good at at all. My routine’s the same everyday: have breakfast, wash my face with cold water, do chores, study, watch tv with my mom, shower, eat dinner, floss, brush teeth, Crest Complete mouthwash, prepare for tomorrow, and polish my nails, and sleep. Anyway, I g2g. It’s nail polish time! It makes me happy to dress up everyday even though I go nowhere. Anyway, take care all. God bless. Lata

p.s, Here is a picture of a poor little bird I seen on the concrete of the nature trail. I got real close to him and he wouldn't budge. poor baby bird.

The next pic is a pic of my chic professional looking nail polish. Guess what? It' not expensive. It was a dollar something and the brand is "Wet 'N' Wild"

Where I Am Right Now and God's Blessings

Hello All! I’m doing great and so is the rest of the fam. I do do chores everyday around the house. So much has changed in a year since we’ve lived here. We’re so neat, and some think of me as obsessively clean because once anything is misplaced, I put it away right away and clean it right away. There’s no clutter at all. Everyone washes their own dishes, When there’s things on the counter around the sinks, I clear it off and clean it off. Everything is where it goes. Mom and I don’t like even a tiny bit of clutter around the house, and it seems like everyone is starting to pick up the pace to that too.My brother’s hamster who we’ve had since last July is named Boo Koo. He’s a Golden White Banded Syrian hamster. He doesn’t bite and loves to be nocturnal in his wheel all day and loves fruit. His favorite fruit is a bit of red apple. He makes his rounds starting at 6:15 pm around the house in his clear ball. He doesn’t care for the HamTrack. Yesterday, I took a ride with mom and dad to WalMart in Roseville next to Sam’s Club. For once in a long time, I decided to go shopping for myself. I bought some Revlon Gold nail polish, Hard Candy’s Brown liquid eyeliner, and Rimmel’s light tone foundation. I’m near a make-up addict but I know how to spend my money. When I go out places I dress my best with lipstick, lipgloss, eye shadow, body glitter, blush, earrings, necklace, and of course a headband. I have two different body glitter sprays that actually smell good, and those are Silver and Bronze. For Blush I use a light pink lipstick and it works just as good as Blush. I have LOTS and LOTS of eye shadow. I have 3 medium sized pallets, some Hard Candy eye shadow, Gold, Turquoise, Green, Brown, Purple, & plus 98 color eyeshadow palette that my brother got me. It took awhile to save up on all of them, but they work! As far as nail polish’s go, some colors eye have are Turquoise, Yellow-Green, Black, Brown, Burgundy, Medium Blue, shimmery Purple, Neon Pink, Silver, and Gold. For headbands, I have lots too. I have a Burgundy and dark Blue ones with bows, a hippi rainbow colored one, a pastel colored one, a Black glittery one, dark Blue, purple, pink, and chokers too. I’m getting started on my earrings collection. I currently have 10 pairs I bought @ WalMart. They have some really good buys @ WalMart, you have to check them out! I bought 4 dress up earrings (like for Christmas parties) @ $3.50 each. There are some of the chicest shades of nail polishes at $1 Tree Store. I bought my L.A. Color’s compact mirror, nail polishes, eye shadow, and lip balm and lip gloss from there. Let me know about your collections. As far as perfumes, I have Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds, and Giorgio Beverly Hills. Giorgio Beverly Hills’s is strong, so I don’t use it that much. I usually where my Prince Matchabelli’s Cotton Candy spray wherever I go. I bought 3 new shirts yesterday that I completely dig. They’re casual, but most of the time, people wear casual. I got a GREEN one, a BRIGHT Orange one, and a Red Mickey Mouse t. I think I look best in the Orange one. I also checked out the variety of lotions they had, and I decided to try a new lotion out: Dial Nutri somethingHowever, a tip, stick with Jergen’s Ultra Healing lotion. When they say it penetrates through 7 layers of skin, it does! Mom and dad bought me a beautiful dress up dress. I now have 3 dresses. I also went body wash shopping and bought: . Dove Shea Butter. Mom gave me a tip and told me to put lotion on my arms to make them soft. I love my new bed! It’s a air mattress! There’s a switch to deflate and inflate. I’ve had it for 2 months now and love it! It’s high off the ground and gives it the laying on a cloud affect. My bed sheets, comforter, and pillow cases are hot pink of course. Actually my fave colors are: is neon Pink, then Hot pink, then bubble gum pink, light pink, and then forest and emerald green, and last, Christmas time red. I’ve just started a routine of walking through a gorgeous nature trail that’s 1 block away from our house. At the side of the trail are birds, flowers, and a babbling brook. It’s good exercise. One thing I discovered I need is a outer life of just my family. I need to socialize with others. 2 days ago I was cleaning my room and discovered a paper with almost all the people I’ve met through my group meetings. One person named Amy, I met at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento. We had a good talk, and exchanged phone numbers and left. I haven’t seen her in 2 years. I was going through personal problems at the time and didn’t call her at all. Even after she left me a voicemail. Anyway, things have been kind of rainy lately. Surprisingly we’ve received quite a bit of rain in June. Mom pointed out my stylish cool tan on my hands. Only my hands though, but with this walk, I’ll probably be completely tanned in no time. Mom’s favorite thing to do (her hobby) is photography. That’s all she does on the nature trail. However, I’ve started my routine that when mom and dad are working, I go alone. As much as I didn’t want to yesterday, I pulled out my GED exercise book. I was fascinated about what I learned about writing a poem, song, or story. The Language Arts sounds FUN!!! But math is my least fave subject. However, when I was in adult school a year ½ ago, I loved doing math. My hobbies are: reading non-fiction books, decorating, surfing online. I’m starting to find new hobbies, and have some more I can’t think of right now. Since mom and I like to decorate, mom created a table centerpiece that has a vase of bright orange sunflowers, yellow Chrysanthemums and another flower piece. Under the flowers she has fruit and fake fruit around it. I don’t see the big deal about photography, but I do about writing poems and stories. Sometimes, I imagine myself singing certain pop songs and I feel how much fun it is. There are certain songs I like, some called “Cherish”, “Lucky Star”, “Vogue” all by Madonna. I don’t like her trashy words, but the beat and other rated G words. My favorite band is Savage Garden. When they sing, I feel like they’re reaching out to me and only me and saying “I believe in you”. I love there song “Crash and Burn” as my fave. 2 months ago, I looked up Backstreet Boys again, and guess what?!?! They’ve teamed up with New Kids On The Block and formed a new band called “NKOTBSB”. I bought their CD yesterday @ WalMart for $12.00. . If you’d like visit www.nkotbsb.com, www.backstreetboys.com, and www.nkotb.com . Some may think I’m rich because I have so many things, but it’s taken me awhile to collect all these things, and I go where the sales, clearance rack, and thrift stores. You have to know when and where to get some REAL wise BUYS! That’s one of my fave stores, Wise Buys”. I also love “WalMart”, $1 Store. I adopted a baby pumpkin plant yesterday and bought him a pot. I like that idea, because no matter how big he gets, I’ll always know where to water him. Anyway, I should stop going on. I realize that some of this letter may seem like bragging, but I’m not at all. I know you have LOTS & LOTS you have and to tell me. I just wrote it so you can see what kind of person I am. My plans for this 4th of July aren’t clear yet. A nice BBQ sounds nice. Maybe hot dogs or cheesburgers. I would love to have fireworks, but I don’t thihk the neighborhood association will allow that. However, I have an excuse to play the movie I used to re-run over and over again “The Patriot” again! Anyway, God bless you all as he’s blessed me. Take care. TTYL

Happy 100th Birthday June Gregg!

Hello All. I hope everyone's as blessed as me and June. June Gregg I read about in the Yahoo news. She's been a member of a bank since 1913! The bank wished her a happy 100th b-day with a cake Thursday.
